Assistance League® of Boise is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization that puts caring and commitment into action through seven philanthropic programs in Ada County.

Assistance League of Boise was organized in 1976, chartered in 1980, and is the 67th Chapter of National Assistance League. There are 121 chapters and guilds across the United States with over 24,000 members. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2010.

 Assistance League of Boise has seven philanthropic programs  benefiting everyone from infants to adults residing in Ada County.  There are currently almost 370 dedicated members working to make Ada County a better place to live and work through our hands on programs. Approximately 40,500 hours were volunteered by our dedicated members in 2006-07.

The organization's major sources of funding include the Thrift Shop, Community Support Letter, grants and donations.
